I'm Abby Fletcher, a junior at the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I grew up in Little Rock in a family of nurses who inspired me to impact lives through healthcare. I'm really excited for the opportunity to encourage student nurses to become involved in their local chapters in an effort to impact their communities and develop leadership skills that are vital to the future of nursing. My biggest passion/hobby is traveling (I am a former International Relations major). I've worked for a year in Spain as a nanny and english teacher and volunteered for a few months in earthquake-stricken Peru as a health officer. I'm very passionate about cross-cultural and multilingual nursing care and would love to collaborate with like-minded students to create avenues of health education for cultural minorities in our region. I'm looking forward to serving as District II Director and seeing Arkansas well represented on a national level! Happy to answer any questions you have! |
